The organization I currently work for has a break down in organization aligned goals set for the employees to the organization’s vision and mission. To begin with there is no clear organization mission or vision stated or conveyed to the employees. This results in many of our employees leaving because of a number of reasons. Many customers are unhappy with the product results and many employees are unhappy with the working environment. Not having a clear organization vision or mission the organization struggles to maintain a stress free environment. The main step to take in this situation is for the organization to develop a clear mission statement and company goals that need to be achieved. Making sure the employees understand the mission and goals is important so everyone has the same understanding of where the organization is and where they organization wants to go. Without these beginning steps the organization will not be able to correct its performance management process because the goals set for employees and the organization do not align.

The two best methods to provide formal individual growth opportunities for the organization from part 1 are a clear, agree-on strategy and translation of strategy into understandable goals and measures. As mentioned in part one, these are the methods that will help any organization to grow and reach the goals they have set forth for the organization and the employees.
