 In 200 to 250 words, conduct a basic SWOT analysis of an organization or department to which you belong. How do you see these factors affecting the direction of HR?

Each and every organization has its own strength, weakness opportunity and threats. Correctly identifying each and every one of them so that you can tap on them without concentrating on the wrong ones and wasting a lot of time and resources is the best way to doing this. The organization I work for bases its strength on the loyal customer base. This keeps the company moving during hard times when everyone is thinking of Quitting. Our main weakness is that these very customers are not accustomed to having all their finances deposited in the bank at a regular basis. They are not much reliable when it comes to that. The opportunity here is that there is a huge population in the region that are likely to accept our banking services. We still have an opportunity here. The main threat is that other financial organizations have identified how we do things and are posing a threat. All these factors will shape the direction the HR department will take. Human resource will act responsibly either to curb the increasing or decreasing situations. HR will always be keen to this. It should also be in a good position to tap into the opportunities and also strengthen its strengths to keep moving.
