Job Description

While a member of the Data Center Global Services, the Vendor Performance Manager will be closely coupled with Infrastructure Operations teams and will support them in managing relations with Data Center colocation providers in the region. This is a fast-moving business unit, and you will be consistently challenged to provide services and deliverables that support the pace. The right person for this job will have a strong customer focus, a passion for producing high-quality work, and bring an intense curiosity and learning drive to the team.

As a Performance Manager you will work with teams across the organization to manage vendor relationships, providing support to the other EMEA IPM member and have a strong understanding of negotiated contract terms to ensure that all vendor contract matters are addressed appropriately and efficiently. You will support vendor performance reviews (to include measuring, communicating and helping drive improved vendor performance). You will interface with vendors, internal customers and Infrastructure Global Expansion Management team members to facilitate contract execution. You will drive process improvement projects that address customer needs in this area, as well as leading and supporting other business development projects and initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

· Excellent verbal and oral English skills
· Travel up to 30%
· 2+ years in a customer facing role (e.g.: sales, customer service management, vendor management, etc.)
· 2+ years’ experience in business decision support, conducting business case analytics
· 2+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, report building and documentation, or similar work
· 1+ year relevant work experience managing projects or initiatives
· Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors at all levels of management
· Proven ability to innovate by improving tools, processes and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

· You have a BA/BS degree within Business Administration or similar field
· You have several years of similar work experience within Data Center Colocation Management, demonstrating progressive responsibility growth
· You have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
· You are a self-starter, critical thinker, with the proven ability to design and implement metrics, processes and models that drive performance and vendor service improvement
· You possess a strong knowledge of business process documentation and improvement
· You are able to conduct complex financial business case analysis / translate large amounts of information into useful formats, draw conclusions and justify them to senior management
· You are a creative, critical thinker with advanced analytical skills
· You have the ability to communicate contract concepts to audiences with varied levels of fluency
· You can easily adopt new technologies to improve performance
· You have the ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners/partners to overcome obstacles and deliver results
· You are able to work independently, remotely from your direct management team and generate high-quality work product in a collaborative, creative, ever-changing and sometimes ambiguous environment
· You have very good knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables), Word and SharePoint
