1. The aim of this week was to bring up the website to aid in the company advertisements, businesses and follow up of important supplies and deliveries. Mainly it was to allow for optimization of the business website to reach out to as many clients as feasible.
2. The next aim was to increase the number of computers since it had been realized that several employees needed to improve in their computer literacy and skills. Both of these goals have been achieved with the assistance if the very able managerial team. We received several computers courtesy of the administration, therefore the training is ongoing, and very soon no one will have issues operating within their own system.
3. The website is up and running and several adverts have already been put up. Information about the most frequent suppliers have been incorporated into the system to ensure continuous flawless tracking of the activities. In addition, the locations for the necessary supplies have been automated into the system to ease the function of the delivery team.
4. Despite the great strides that have been taken by the firm, there are some issues, which have arisen. To begin with, the GPS machine of the trucks were noted to have malfunctioned and therefore either provide false information about the rightly input location or provide inaccurate information. These are the main issues that need to be addressed since they will determine how well our deliveries will become which is a key component of the business. We therefore request help in ensuring that these machines are followed up and in proper working function as soon as possible. This will both need aid from the financial, maintenance and managerial team at large.
5. To be ready for the kickoff presentation next week all I need to have done is to ensure that the GPS machines are in good working condition to facilitate relay of information from our servers to those of the delivery guys. This is the only remaining bit of the exercise that has not been explored.
