My senior year in high school I was diagnosed with Lupus. I thought it was the end of the world for me. I was already at a stage three and I wanted to give up on life. My mother saw how much of a struggle it was for me and she flew me to Los Cabos, Mexico. It was just me and her and we had so much fun. She got my mind off of the horrible things I were thinking and she told me that together we would get through this. Its been six years now and my mother has been with me every step of the way. I have been in remission for two years now but I don’t know where I would be with out someone as strong as my mother by my side.
