My operating system is Window 7 Home Premium. There are many reason why knowing your operating systems is important. While installing new systems and programs it important know if they are compatible with your current operating system. People who are using Mac will not be able to use window because it is not compatible. Windows is an easy alternative for first time users when update. Windows has features that make it easy for the system to be used, with a customizable start menu. Users can select how you want icon and other menus items to start in the start menu. Also, users can customize the programs and only allow a selected amount to be displayed. Users can customize when they would like their computer to shut down, instead of the computer running continuously.
Windows Other elements that are available in windows 7 is customizing you desktop with widgets and other application that fit your style. Window 7 has many new themes that can make your screensaver a bed of flowers to a field of dreams. Even with all the bonuses and extras, you have to be very careful when purchasing items and programs from your system. When you are out looking for a new keyboard, a Mac keyboard would not be compatible. Even though you may like how thin or lightweight it may be, it will not work. There are other examples like maybe purchasing tax program. They may have the same title, but if you look closely one may have Windows 8, Windows 7, Mac OS X or Liux. You could lose money not being familiar with your operating system, due to the fact that some stores will not accept open software.
Window 7 does not support anything out of the windows family and they still may not be compatible with all window programs either. Understanding your system and knowing how to navigate is very important for several reasons. It could save you lots of time if you learned how it operates and where to find the application you need. The many elements and options, I consider short cuts and they have assisted me with searching less and enjoying more computer time.
