My Experience with Writing So Far

I would never say that I have mastered anything. To say that you know everything about a subject means that there is nothing more to learn. As for me, I know that I have much to learn, probably more than I know. Writing is a big part of my job, and in some cases, it can be very crucial that I use good punctuation and format. If a State Attorney or Judge reads a case of mine, it is important that I keep to topic and detail all my findings and keep things in a chronological order. If I confuse someone with my writing, then it could hurt my case. As for my writing, I feel that I have a good grasp on my subject that I choose for my essay, which I will reveal later. I also am interested in learning something new about my topic as it is something I do for fun with the family. So far in this course, I have learned that most of the mistakes that people make, including myself, is to over think it. Sometimes it is as simple as reading your work over until you hear something that stands out. Usually when you are writing or typing, you don’t read it the same way as you would if you were reading a story. When you do that, it becomes much easier to pick out the sentences or fragments that stands out and just do not sound right.
