Sustained employee motivation is essential since motivated employees are always willing to succeed. They are self-driven to utilize their abilities to the maximum for the sake of the project. Unmotivated employees do not show concern on their performance and usually offer a minimum amount of effort hence reflecting in the results of the project. Motivation is internal and it is likely what motivates one individual is not for the other. In order to ensure employees are rewarded in the right way that ensures better performance, there is need to consider several factors. First, the employee should value the reward hence perceiving it as worth the effort for achievement. The employee should understand how to behave in order to earn the reward. The employee requires viewing the reward as attainable in addition to the reward system being fair. It is essential for managers to consider the listed factors while rewarding their employees(Robbins et al, 2013). One example of the advantages of this system is it allows for satisfaction at the employee level enabling improvements.

Group dynamics is the settings of interaction between individuals who are together in a single group like a business settings. These teams consist of individuals with their own personal expectation, attitudes and beliefs. All these factors have a certain influence on authority, self- esteem and values in the team or organization which in turn influence the effectiveness of the team. In this case there is need for a dominant leader to ensure group dynamics(Levi, 2013). There are instances or examples of the consequences of leaders failing to notice group dynamics. If the leader is not sufficiently dominant there is possibility for another individual to influence control by trying to dominate which may affect consistency. Also,if the leader is not aware of the invisible behaviors and experiences in a group, there may emerge issues due to lack of harmony and a common understanding of the members.
