Defense attorneys should be given greater latitude than prosecutors in ethical expectations because they have to make sure they follow all guidelines to remain ethical.They are representing a client just like prosecutors are basically representing the families of the victim or the public

The defense attorney role is more critical to the courts because they have to prove that their client is either innocent or have medical problems to where they wasn’t in their right mind

The judge has a higher level of ethical expectations because they have to be fair to both sides at all timesThe cannot have their feeling involved when making a decision on someone’s life

What was one of the points made during your collaborative group discussion this week

The prosecutors think they know it all when it come to trying to prove a case. The defense attorney has to fight for the defendant even if they arein the wrong. The judge has to fair for both sides when making a decision on someone’s sentence. They all have a crucial job within the system.
