According to (Ferrell & Fraedrich, 2015), any individual or organization has a social responsibility such that we are able to sustain the coexistence between the economy and its environs. We are required to take care of the environment and its surroundings. This applies to the dovetail turtle. Despite the concern of XYZ Corporation to make more profits out of their production, they should take into consideration the population of the dovetail turtles. The dovetail turtles have a mortality rate of 33.3% which is unacceptable and maximum profits 13,121,121.00. XYZ production however should be regulated.

XYZ Corporation has the obligation to balance the profits it makes together with building a relationship with the society such that it maintains its best interests. The international Organization for standardization is usually responsible for ensuring that companies maintain a good relationship with the society and its environs. It gives them the go ahead to carry out with their operations smoothly and effectively. It is also used frequently when checking the general performance of a company (Bryman & Bell, 2015).

Mathematics behind XYZ Corporation working well with the society and its environs increases its success in business. As shared by (Crane & Matten, 2016), a number of investors usually gauge on the well being of a company by checking on social responsibility before investing in it. This means that profits can be acquired indirectly through social responsibility. The customers of the corporation will also have interests in buying the goods or services offered because of the good reputation. Thus if XYZ follows these regulations, their profits have potential in increasing gradually.

The ethical considerations that I would bring my clients attention is that concerning integrity. This is because, when the XYZ Corporation does not put into consideration the needs of the society and its environs, it has a higher chance of making more money. As shared by (Ferrell & Fraedrich, 2015), a management driven with greed are more likely to follow up on that path. Unethical ways like bribing some people in favor of the company or not respecting the contacts the company makes or fails to develop or maintain a good relationship with the customers and suppliers. This would lead to the failure of XYZ Corporation (Bryman & Bell, 2015).

Another ethical consideration I would bring to my client is concerning the quality of the product being produced in the company. The XYZ Corporation should be in a position to produce products that do not harm the customers, society and its environs even with the absence of consumer protection laws. They should produce products that are of good quality and not hazardous when used and can be disposed safely (Crane & Matten, 2016).
