Provide an example of a company that has done a total “turnaround”. Determine if the turnaround has been effective and improved its profitability.

Turnaround is the step taken by the company to correct the period of the deteriorating financial performance. Let us take an example of Dominos adopted this strategy, introduced new recipe and created awareness and strengthen the relationship with customer. They focused on the continuous feedback of the customers and reinvented Pizza so as to win the old customers back.

In my opinion, the strategy that the company has taken has worked and it also resulted in increased profitability for the company. Dominos prepared the new pizzas on the basis of the customer comments and feedback on social media sites. With the start of this strategy, Dominos was able to reposition itself in the field of Pizzas which were dominated by its competitors
