Examine two ways that companies can recruit qualified job applicants. Determine which method may be most effective and predict how it could benefit the company when hiring new employees.

From the e-Activity, compare two different job descriptions. Recommend two changes to make the job descriptions more marketable. Provide examples to support your recommendations. Be sure to provide details of the job descriptions in case others want to use them.

In this high competitive environment where both retaining as well as hiring new talent is considered to be an uphill task for any organization because the of the presence of high degree of competition in the market. Hence among all the ways that organizations adopt to recruit qualified job applicants the two best way is being discussed and described below:
  2. The first and foremost way is to hire through referral where an employee working within the organizations refers theirs friends, relatives, and colleagues depending upon the requirement. The second way to recruit qualified job applicants is to appoint a third party agency who will search and recommend the right candidates among the pool of unlimited available resources, for example social networks and Job board, Linkin.com, Monster.com and Careerbuilder.com.
  3. Hence it can be said that among both described the methods described above the referral method is considered to be the most effective one for organizations because an employee working within the organization is more well versed with the kind of skill set that would the given vacancy and they refer accordingly which not only saves time to recruit but also gives more suitable qualified candidates whereas with third party agency it incurs huge cost to organization.
