What were the most compelling topics learned in this course?

Information data communication techniques. I learnt that communication is very important in project management. Proper communication facilitates increased performance in the project. This is because communication ensures that each member of the project is aware of his or her roles and responsibilities thus enhancing productivity. Proper communication enhances coordination of the members working through the project. In addition, I learnt that for a project to be successful, the members should work in proper teams that are productive (Schwalbe, 2015). The most efficient type of team in project management is the cross-functional teams. This is because they are more creative and innovative since it consists of employees from different functional teams thus have a lot of knowledge and skills.

The discussion groups allowed us to be more creative when handling the information technology questions. Moreover, the group discussions enabled us to come up with the best solution to a challenge (Schwalbe, 2015). It was a very effective and efficient method since it was involving to every member of the group. It enabled us to research widely on the subject matter. However, I would like more clarification the various project management planning management.

Research enables one to gain more insight on the subject matter thus gaining more valuable information (Schwalbe, 2015). Moreover, individual research one to gain more knowledge on the subject matter and acquire proper skills to conduct the management.
