Part 2:

In creating this network, I chose to use Cat 6A cabling to wire the building and the computers. This cabling can deal with speeds of 10Gbps with 500MHz of maximum bandwidth. When the company begins to expand, and the technology improves, the Cat 6A cable will be able to carry the load for a longer time before it becomes obsolete. The cable itself is made of twisted pairs that have extra insulation to prevent the crosstalk which causes data loss. The technology that could replace these cables has not been fully developed, and at this stage, it would be prohibitively expensive to install and maintain. Additionally, the transmission of data at those higher speeds has not been implemented by ISPs yet.
