Letter of Interest

To whom it may concern,

Salutations! I am Timothy Johnson. I have seen your job post about searching for and hiring a mentor/life coach. This literally caught my attention. To be honest, I feel that I am the right man for the job. Let me tell you about my experiences that show I am fit to do this. First, I recently just finished a course on Interpersonal Effectiveness. Throughout this course, I have learned so much about ethics and communication strategies. And also I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree. Here are a few qualities that I know for sure you would love to know about me. I am competent, mindful, ethical, and able to see multiple perspectives, culturally sensitive, a good listener, and a team player.

Every day when I come into work, I am committed to the job and do whatever my supervisor tells me to do. When I speak to my fellow associates, I know what I should say and should not say. Even with my friends, I speak to them the way a respectful individual does. At work, I act professionally and dress accordingly. During meetings, I and the rest of my fellow associates share our opinions and ideas. Everyone has a chance to speak up. I listen to each and every one of them. If they disagree with an idea of mine, I try to compromise with them and create a solid solution. Especially with my friends, we are a diverse group. Not all of us are the same, so I do my best to accommodate to their native language, space, and cultural aspects.
