Quantitative Reasoning II Project: Selecting a Topic

I chose the topic “Health Services and Nursing Scenario “, topic 1.

Healthcare and nursing in specific has been an area of interest in me for a very long time. I have read quite a lot about the improvement of healthcare in the US. I would like to see healthcare improve across the county and is partly why I chose this career path. An improvement in healthcare means a better society for everyone and a higher quality of life as everyone desires. I also hope to learn new ways of data analysis and presentation so that I will be in a position to effectively share my knowledge. For these reasons, I think I have a lot to contribute to this specific topic and why I chose it.

I hope to discover past trends and uncover current trends that I am personally not aware of. Being in a position to predict future trends will enable me to offer my services more efficiently as I will be in a position to plan. Analysis of health related data enables one get the hidden trends that might have been ignored in the past as they might have been thought to be insignificant. Investigating and uncovering them will contribute a lot to the field.
