Just Right Company – WBS and Responsibility Matrix
Part A: Work Breakdown Structure
A work breakdown structure (WBS) in project management enables the project management team to breakdown the project into smaller manageable parts or units that are instrumental to the completion of the whole project and at the same time highlights the different milestones to be achieved by the completion of each part of the project, the individuals responsible for each part and other resources to be utilized in the completion of each of the milestones. On the other hand, a responsibility matrix is a grid that is designed to give a graphical presentation of the tasks as delineated in the work breakdown structure (WBS) and the team member of the project team charged with the responsibility of ensuring the completion of that specific task (Gido, 2014).
