Change in criminal justice agency is caused by the rights which are influenced by the citizens, the laws which are implemented by the political leaders and also the culture of the organization. There is strictness in the police sector whereby investigation should be done concerning the crimes found within an organization. Then the change that will occur in the police sector will need a bureaucratic process. Any change occurring in an organization is time consuming and it applies to the settings of the organization. Criminal justice change occurs not only to affect the stakeholders of the organization but also the government at large. This paper therefore explains the social, political and organizational behavior that influences the criminal justice agencies changes (Trevino, 2010).

Social behavior is how the people manage themselves or contribute to the criminal justice. Social behaviors are found in the society which normally consists of the culture of the people. The norms and regularizes of the society highly influence the changes found in the criminal justice agency. Social behavior is very important which include the adherence to the law and the quality of the services received by people may influence the change in the agency. The social status of the people is the most influential in the criminal justice agency. On the other hand, political behavior has got influence too in the criminal justice agency. Political behavior include the law enforcement whereby funding the police is one way of influencing criminal justice agency (Wandersman & Florin, 2009).

Police department is made in a search a way that other organizations are structured. Changes which may affect the criminal justice agency may include the way of the commands are done and the management of the finances. The commands from the higher management of the organization have got much influence in the criminal justice agency. The leaders should be the role model of the other groups by setting the example. Their behavior should portray was should be depicted on the criminal justice agency. The state government should be responsible in funding the police department in order to make changes. The community members are also influential on the type of behavior or changes to be witnessed on the criminal justice. The taxpayers and the society also influence the police organization through their behavior and contribution on the decisions made. In addition, organizational behavior is the key to the success of any organization. The leaders are the most influential which act as the picture or image of the organization. Good behavior influences how things are done leading to the great control of the criminal justice agency (Trevino, 2010).

Organizational behavior entails all the activities done by the employees and the leaders either positive or negative for success of an organization. In criminal justice organization, how the leaders and the workers relate to one another gives the clear meaning of the organizational behavior within the organization. Organizational systems are the systems within an organization which are used to shape the behavior and other activities in an organization. The relationship between the organizational behavior and organizational systems is very close in that the behavior within criminal justice organization has got effects on the change on the organizational systems. This means that if the skills, knowledge and also training of the employees is not stable, it has got effects on the organizational systems. This will lead to poor performance within the organization whereby the employees have got low morale and no motivation.

Organizational stakeholders found in the criminal justice system entail both the employees and the community. There are difficulties which are experienced in organizational systems concerning the perception of the people. This is caused by how people perceive change within and outside the organization. There are many ways of handling change on stakeholders whereby the best way is the use of communication. Good communication between the managers and the employees can weaken the resistance found in the community and the employees towards changes in the organization. The use of communication to is the effective method of reducing the gossips which leads to wrong information in an organization. In addition, through communication the employees can be convinced to see the importance of change in packing the proper concepts within an organization (Wandersman & Florin, 2009).

The flow of communication is one observable aspect of the criminal justice culture. How effective and respectful the communication is within the organization affects the activities done. Criminal justice organization has a task of handling conflicts whereby they teach good listening skills and also communication skills. Another observable aspect in organizational culture is the technology. How technology is used within an organization and the impacts to the organization. The advancing technology has both the positive and negative effective in an organization. Positive impact in an organization is that there is quick handling of all the activities whereby a task is handled within the shortest time possible. In addition a law or an important massage may be communicated very fast and reach large amount of people (Trevino, 2010).

In conclusion, change management strategies have got many benefits to criminal justice agency and criminal justice systems. There is implementation of more effective and useful management skills with qualified personnel. Management strategies have also impacted on the implementation skills and strategies whereby introduction of new methods and techniques have been witnessed. Many jail managers have developed new implementation skills in order to be able to handle the innovative changes concerning the advancement in technology. This has also impacted on the organizational systems whereby there is good flow of ideas and the goals of an organization are met successfully (Elias, 2006).
