In today’s life education is the light to any activity for any individual. In Gezira training Centre there are different courses offered at degree, diploma and certificate level. We help in enlightening leadership and educating students in order to transform our higher education standards in schools. Gezira is one of the best organizations in provision of comprehensive research, planning and implementation services. The main purpose of our education is to help the learners to attain their vision, mission and goals in their life by integrating high quality, mission program and technology in a timely way (Nilson, 2010).

Although faculty and students are the primary learning management system users, other stakeholders like administrators and IT experts select the systems too. This selection of the systems used should involve various stakeholders. Basically, technology resources like institution website and are most valued by the students. The evaluation and selection of tools and processes used in an organization should be learner Gezira organization proprietary, open-source and cloud based alternative are used depending on what one believes in. it also depends on educational priorities and the configuration of the software ( Hawk, 2010).

If learners are not interested in proprietary LMS software, the instructors and institutions might select an alternative. Open-source are designed and developed by individuals because they believe that they have a better idea. The advantages of open-source LMS software for instruction and learning are that, it can be easy to obtain basic services, allows the users to obtain any available updates which are highly accessed by everyone and can be set by instructor without technical support from the institution. In cloud based services are provided to all users whereby some of the tools can use document sharing, applications and social networking sites (Nilson, 2010).

According to Oviedo (2010) an organization cannot thrive by its own without the assistance from the stakeholders. Stakeholders should strongly support an organization by all means either through ideas, financially or through opinions. The head of the organization is the key admin who controls all the opinions and activities going on in the institution. Without administration, the organization can lack direction because the administration shows direction to an organization. Stakeholders have the power to approve or disapprove any agenda passed in an organization according to their feelings about the opinion.

Governance ensures that the LMS implementation is in alignment with the objectives and goals of our organization. It provides a structure of all the decision in the organization and it also establishes other representatives from the stakeholders. If there is lack of adequate governance, it would be difficult to establish and enforce all the standards needed in the organization. There is also governing board in our organization which consists of key stakeholders at executive level. This board represents the organizations strategic goals and provides linkage between the business strategy and the learning strategy (Nilson, 2010).

steering teem and working groups are also involved in maintenance of systems. Steering team comprises of senior management and each team member represents one or more user groups. The user groups are the learners, managers and faculty and their work is to establish the learning management practices. Working groups consists of people at management level. Each group represents a specific area like faculty of education and the main purpose of working groups is to plan or execute all activities related to . Every stakeholder has got a specific task which it should accomplish for a smooth run of an organization (Hawk, 2010)

LMS has variety of benefit in an organization depending on the type and level of usage. It helps in management and tracking of staff training whereby use of LMS can streamline the administrative effort. This is because training administration may be difficulty and time consuming mostly working with a large group of people. Therefore, by the use of LMS makes it easy by ensuring that each learner gets the appropriate training as well as helping the leader to control classroom activities. In addition, LMs help to manage all the equipment and any other resource needed to deliver useful information to the clients (Oviedo, 2010).

There is reduction of cost with the use of LMS. The right use of LMS can reduce cost through many ways including the cost saving of e-learning. There is also improved compliance with the regularly requirements. For example, safety programs are the common use of LMS solutions as it enables the administration to easily demonstrate that all appropriate staff is up-to-date on required certification and training. The system also facilitate e-learning with online learning platform. Almost all industries in today’s generation employ the use of the new technology which has been created using separate authority tools.

There is a significant benefit in having all the training in single consolidated system. This system helps in identification of those learners who have completed certain qualifications as well as the staff members. This reduces the cost and time of having to search through separate systems and files of the client to find for the needed qualifications. It also makes it easy for the working groups as they represent their groups wherever they are by the use of technology. The steering team has free access to all learning tools which conserves the time and improves the learning standards in our organization ( Hawk, 2010).

Nilson (2010) says that the classification of stakeholders may be based on the power to influence and the legitimacy of each stakeholder in the is important that LMS system should be keenly selected and evaluated to meet the needs of an organization taking into consideration the cost of the system. There is also need in expansion of educational technology to meet the high number of the learners. The needs of learners and the parents should also be considered in LMS selection because the change which will be produced by the use of LMS will highly affect the learners. Not every class can teach every skill that every learner wants but their interests should be listened.

The key to successful LMS strategy is to understand that the system is not the technology alone. It also includes the technology infrastructure which cannot work without the support structures to improve educational practices. There is need to increase the communication between all the educational stakeholders and the administration. The administration should listen to the needs of all the stakeholders from different categories. An organization should look on the crucial aspects in order to create a successful strategic plan for the success of the organization. Each group need to work harder to achieve its goals and objectives (Hawk, 2010).

In conclusion, LMS tools are very important in an organization when used in the right way. The system can be used to reduce risk, increase quality and potentially save millions of dollars in an organization. A well-managed LMS system provides a centralized source for information and education and can be offered at any time and at any place. It also simplifies the learning process and procedures to make it more responsive to the learners’ needs and makes easy to combine multiple forms of learning.
