The Business of Health Infographics.

This piece of work is meant to show how different actors play to ensure the success of the healthcare industry. The industry is built on a rubric of different health care infographics. I am going to give examples of companies that provide the health care infographics listed and there after explain the company’s contribution to the health sector.

Health information technology companies are aimed at the digitalization of the health industry. They facilitate the computerization of medical services from management, data keeping and recording to disease identification.

Medidata Solutions is an American-based global SaaS technology company which specializes in developing and marketing a cloud-based platform of applications and data analytics to address operations in clinical trials. The Medidata Clinical Cloud platform is designed to improve clinical study design and planning through execution, management and reporting. Specific technology areas include protocol development, clinical site collaboration and management, randomization and trial supply management, capturing patient data through web forms, mobile health (mHealth) devices, and laboratory reports and imaging systems, quality monitor management, safety event capture, and business analytics.

Pharmaceutical companies major in the distribution and supply of medicines. The supplies ranges from hospitals, clinics to chemists.

Abbott has a broad range of branded generic pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, and nutrition products. The company’s in-vitro diagnostics business performs immunoassays and blood screening. Its medical tests and diagnostic instrument systems are used worldwide by hospitals, laboratories, blood banks, and physician offices to diagnose and monitor diseases such as HIV, hepatitis, cancer, heart failure and metabolic disorders, as well as assess other indicators of health. Abbott Point-of-Care manufactures diagnostic products for blood analysis to provide health care professionals diagnostics information at the point of patient care. Abbott also provides point-of-care cardiac assays to the emergency room.

These are companies that deal in the disposal of medical wastes. They collect the wastes from hospitals, clinics, laboratories among other medical places.

Johnson & Johnson is a good example of a manufacturing entity in the medical field.

It is an American medical devices and consumer packaged goods manufacturer founded in 1886.

Johnson & Johnson’s brands include numerous household names of medications and first aid supplies. Among its well-known consumer products are the Band-Aid Brand line of bandages, Tylenol medications, Johnson’s baby products, Neutrogena skin and beauty products, Clean & Clear facial wash and Acuvue contact lenses.

These are companies that provide scientific research and consultancy services. They do research into new drugs as well as immunity.

They provide their consulting services on a variety of diverse and interesting products, from biotech and biologics companies to the food service industry.
