Bilingualism is simply the ability the ability to use two languages. For this case of bilingual language acquisition, it means the proficiency at which someone is able to learn a second language. Children learn the language differently compared to adults. For people learning a second language, there are many similarities and ease in learning the language since they already possess the knowledge of a linguistic system and the rules of the first language. (Cummins, 2000).

For bilingual adoption, there are very many resources available for a learner to use. Most of them are readily available and easy to use since someone already has the knowledge to learn and know the other language. When learning the second language, it will be easy. The first resource that is available for someone to use is the internet. The internet has a wide variety of resources that offer translation from one language to the other (Kohnert, 2008). There are several videos online that will enable one adopt a second language easily. The second resource is books. There books that offer direct translation from one to the other. It is a method that has been used for many years and can since serve as the best resource.

The third resource according to (Oller & Eilers , 2002) is tutors and teachers who have a good grip of the two languages. They will use their proficiency to teach and make one adopt the new language. People do employ personal tutors or go to schools that offer such service for them to learn the new language. In conclusion children are in a good position to also learn this second language from their inexperienced first language. Guiding children will be a bit simple for me and my career and the children too.
