Subject: Selecting and Using Data Resources and Systems

The purpose of this week’s memorandum is to advise you on how I plan to utilize week three lesson into my final project on Amazon.com. I will continue to use fundamental and trustworthy resources available. Amazon.com is researched daily, my research will contain certifiable information about how Amazon.com uses data resources and systems. My focus will be on the short and long-term issues surrounding data management and why it is critical to Amazon.com business information systems.

This week’s lesson regarding the various ways data resources, processing, and storage systems are utilized in business helped me better understand Amazon.com sales, usage, and what would work best from them. My research will examine the safety and reliability of Artificial Intelligence is a system that executes a task that usually requires human intelligence.

Currently, Amazon.com offers storage services; such as, hybrid cloud, cloud file system, object storage, gateway and cloud data migration (2018, March). Retrieved from https://aws.amazon.com/products/storage/ Cloud computing has helped Amazon.com expand on an increasing adoption of cloud services by businesses (Loten, 2018). In 2018, we expect to see many more organizations take advantage of the simplicity and high-performance the cloud guarantees (Puranik, 2017). With the increasing demand of cloud services Amazon continues to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and businesses.

According to Fortune; Amazon Web service customers will be able to develop and quickly “train” their own artificial intelligence algorithms, build software applications capable of translating language on the fly, analyze video, and scan text for trends or key phrases (March, 2017). Amazon is changing the way small businesses approach technology. Despite being the pioneer and dominant player in the cloud computing market, AWS is playing catch-up to chief rivals Microsoft and Alphabet Inc’s Google when it comes to new AI offerings, several of which will not be generally available until sometime in 2018 (March, 2017). Businesses today have several choices on how data is processed and stored. Amazon.com created a company that has removed the guess work out of it. If your dream is to have a tech friendly company; Amazon is there for you. Amazon is more than an online store; the company has become the go to place for just about anything from music to cloud space.
