This is a type of Descriptive design as it a survey. In this the research will involve a study designed to depict the participants in an accurate way.

  • Indicating the research is one of the primary methodological strides the researcher needs to take when undertaking research. The research question must be precisely and obviously characterized. Picking an exploration inquiry is the focal component of both quantitative and subjective examination and now and again it might go before development of the calculated structure of study. In all cases, it makes the hypothetical suspicions in the structure more express, above all else it demonstrates what the specialist needs to know most and first. In the regard of the project, I want to test if there is any significant difference in the mean Rs occupational prestige score (2010) between 4 types of race of respondent (IAP, White, black, other).
  • Null hypothesis, ho; there is no significant difference in the mean Rs occupational prestige score (2010) between 4 types of race of respondent namely IAP, White, black and other. Alternative hypothesis, h1; at least one of the mean Rs occupational prestige score (2010) between 4 types of race of respondent namely IAP, White, black and other differs significantly.

Dependent variable is Rs occupational prestige score (2010). It is measured on ratio scale of measurement. Dependent variable is Rs occupational prestige score (2010). It is measured on ratio scale of measurement. A dependent variable is something that depends on other factors. For example, a test score could be a dependent variable because it could change depending on several factors such as how much you studied

=10003.19/443145.274
= 0.022573

This implies it has a small effect.

  • Independent variable is type of race. It is measured on nominal scale of measurement. It is categorized as IAP, White, black and other.
  • With p-value less than alpha (0.05), my results are significant. effect size is given by SS between/SS total

Commands

  • With p-value less than alpha (0.05), I reject ho at 5% level of significance and conclude that at least one of the mean Rs occupational prestige score (2010) between 4 types of race of respondent namely IAP, White, black and other differs significantly. I can perform post hoc test to test which groups differs significantly.
