Criminal Justice Organizational Trends

Criminal justice organizations have experienced many changes over the past years. These changes have been taking place in criminal justice organizations in order to correct on the operational system to may perfections. Many theories have been incorporated in order to make changes in the system of criminal justice. Management has been changed and organizational reforms have been done to change the situation in criminal justice organization. This paper therefore compares how the criminal justice organization has used privatization, militarization and also e-corporation in the current structures within its operations. In addition, I will discuss the historical and organizational behavior and how they have impacted into the society. The theories have also affected organizational diversities in criminal justice systems (Conner, 2010).

Privatization has been witnessed to work best in the criminal justice organizations whereby it has reduced cost. The government has also allowed privatization in all the criminal justice organization to be able to manage the resources within these organizations. It is also possible for the government to ensure that the resources have been used effectively because privatization has reduced both the cost and recidivism in private sectors. This has contributed to more private companies than public companies. The government is working with the investigation sector in order to respond to the cries of the community. More efforts on privatization are done on the correctional facilities whereby the government is investing much. Government is holding contracts with private companies in order to ensure that there are correctional facilities not only for maintenance but also for vocational training. This has called for the government to work hand in hand with private companies (Hofstede, 2013).

Criminal justice organizations have used force through militarization in order to ensure that there is effective ruling. The police have gained power through militarization in order to control people and ensure that there is peace among the people. The force which is used by the police to rule the society is perceived at high cost and used as democracy. The government was to use militarization it means that women rights would be violated in the society because men would be seen to have power. The power of militarization defies some of the human rights and also the method of ruling. In addition the protection measures and policing will be meaningless if the government reinforces the use of militarization in current police organizations. The society would therefore not allow the use of militarization in their economy because it will create hard time for them through violations (Conner, 2010).

On the other hand, E-corporation may be said to be those institutions dealing with technologies and managed responsibly by their stakeholder whether publicly or privately. E- Corporation is applicable in the criminal justice organizations whereby they help to manage the skilled techniques through the use of computers. The performance of the skilled technicians is managed to the maximum through the use of e-corporation. The corporation is responsible in keeping the private of the organizations issues. The privacy is maintained at high standards whereby sensitive information is only allowed for law enforcements. E-corporations are very important in the criminal justice organizations whereby any sensitive inform is ensured maximum protection from the hackers and interference which may lead to loss of the information (Hofstede, 2013).

There are different theories either historical or organizational theories which are applicable within an organization. Historical theories include the criminal motivational theories whereby an individual may feel motivated on his or her values. Individuals are self-determined in completion of their mission. They are determined in achieving their goal which is helpful not only to the society but also to the organization. Goal setting theory is also another motivational theory which is applicable in criminal justice theory whereby the individuals are committed in the completion of the different assigned tasks despite of the situation. In addition, two factors theory is also a motivational theory whereby the workers within the organization are free to be promoted to other positions. This is an organizational theory whereby the employees are promoted for their satisfaction in order to keep top security within the organization (Conner, 2010).

In conclusion, Motivational theory matrix has much influence in criminal justice organizations. Motivational theory includes self-determination theory whereby the individual are focused on the completion of the mission of the organization. A professional will feel special after getting the criminal because the mission has been accomplished. The individuals are self-motivated and the retirement plans are great. The employees are committed and motivated in accomplishing the goals and objectives of the criminal justice organization. The employer motivates his or her employees through the two factor theory. This theory enables the employees to be satisfied in their field and positions in their organization (Clark, 2009).
