The CEC professional Ethical Principle have a lot of detail in their guidelines. The teachers must follow the guidelines when in the work place. DQ2

Using material from this week’s readings, identify and describe three strategies to promote more productive discussions with parents or other IEP team members. Rationalize your choices.

In this week’s reading I found that promoting more positivity, respect others and discussion until it clear are great strategies for parents and other IEP team members. Promoting a more positive behavior it great for kids, it helps with self-esteem and makes the environment a stress-free area. If people have respect for others, then they will have a better self-worth for them self’s. Being respectful generally make people like you and have respect for you. When discussing anything it is good to be sure they know what’s going on. To make sure they understand and not just listening.
