H. Gene Blocker argued that human beings have a possession of inalienable rights which are generated from historical sources. These historical sources are very important for provision of ideas to human beings as they contain their rights. He said that human rights have originated from the medieval notions. The notions are therefore for natural law of human rights. According to Blocker, those ideas came up with great philosophers like Aristotle and other. The sources from which the ideas originated depict our contemporary culture. This is because our government is framed and also formed by these sources.

As the citizen of one nation we are supposed to enjoy every right in our country including the right to life, equality and liberty. These are legal rights in a country whereby as a citizen we are entitled to enjoy. The government has a responsibility to protect the people in the country even those posing threats. There are questions on who should ensure that universal human right is respected. In addition, who should also ensure that those rights have been guarded and protected? It has been therefore seen that these universal human rights have been highly respected and protected by western societies (Emde, et al. 2009)

According to Blocker (2008) humans have the right to life whereby they ought to live in safety and freedom hence the right to life abundantly without being mistreated. We should treat all people equally and should be allowed to socialize freely without limitation. Every person has different opinions therefore should be allowed to present them. These rights belong to everyone despite the ethical differences therefore we should eliminate all things which may bring about discrimination. The law is supposed to protect every person and nobody should be tortured. The law should deal and protect everybody because we are one nation and we all belong to one government.

According to him, he made an observation which was about authenticity in African art. There were challenges in this field when he tried to establish provenance for objects. He argued that regulations have limited value whereby tourist pieces were seen to be constructed with either soft woods or hardwoods. These all are seen therefore as reserved products of work and used by our locally. In addition, hardwood can be used for tourist carvings whereby they have different sense of quality and quality. Blocker asked whether we can have those people with the skill to carve in our today’s generation. He concluded that if we are not able to carve then we should buy the already made carvings.

There are demands of genre which are cultivated by the Aesthetic of Primitive Art. These demands are sometimes generated by our norms and if we are keen we can notice that these demands fade with the introduction of aesthetic experience. These aids too much discussion and worrying of the mind. These should be respected because they have high level of knowledge used and there is also ability to act in three areas. This is very important for the Africans because understanding this knowledge and skills will help them come out of the darkness and do something construction. Blocker is one of the greatest people who tackled the right issues clearly about how human beings live according to their comfort. He said that only the lack of knowledge that keeps us in darkness whereby we should remove that layer of darkness (Blocker, 2008).

In conclusion, the contemporary culture of the people came from the modern society and frames our government today. There are those people who still remain confined by the law and threaten other human rights. This forced for the government to protect those people because everybody has right of freedom and right to life.
