Strategic Planning Development and Implementation

Strategic management refers to the complex unique organizational strategic aspects that are embraced by an organization with the sole purpose of adopting a conceptual normative that a given firm deems more suitable in aiding management for proficient effectiveness and efficient results which help in planning and evolving in relation to the market statues. Strategic management relies on three other different components. They include; environmental scanning, strategy formulation and implementation and strategy evaluation.(Varbanova., 2013.)

Environmental scanning involves review of both internal and external impacts. This component of strategic management enables the business organization in identifying the strength, weaknesses, opportunities’ and threats that aid in the re-evaluation of the proposed amendments’ on the proposed strategic plan. Through such methods, any major, minor or catastrophic risks can be prevented and further damage. This, therefore, means actions are carried out without any clumsy protocols thus any negative effect is coerced. Internal impacts may include; the accounts data and the patient files. External impacts, on the other hand, include; data from the Medicare sponsors.(Wilkinson. & Kannan., 2013)

Strategy formulation and implementation, in this component, the organization is able to carry a strategic analysis after the carrying out the environmental scanning which would have by then enabled them to have familiarized themselves with what factors to prioritize first when citing the shortcomings after the amendments have been put in place. Hence after this is done, all the final implementations are initiated. The developed new measures are each assigned to different individuals who will ostensibly be held responsible for ensuring that they aid in achieving the goals that they were imposed on. Nonetheless, the most important issue to take note of is that such actions are initiated to capitalize on any opportunities’ that will have been identified.(Sekhar., 2009)

Strategy evaluation, as a component involves gathering statistical data on the resultant strides that have been noted. They are afterward evaluated and adjusted if any need is necessary to ensure continuous success. In addition, any actions that are viable for elimination are also registered and the necessary steps taken in amending them. This cycle is important since it serves as critical stages where proper channels are to be meticulously taken for proper communication. A wider range of people is therefore made aware.(Sekhar., 2009)

Another aspect of consideration is on the importance of an organization’s mission and its values. Missions are statements that guide and remind every employee to understand how best they can lead to the success. Missions are an overview of the company’s best interest towards set goals. The values are however the set rules that are meant to prevent conflicts’ in and within the environment surrounding since misunderstandings tend to be detrimental. Values are therefore essential and vital since they help resolve the aspect of divergent arguments and thus enhance the level of integrity and trust.(Varbanova., 2013.)

Regardless of the oblivious advantages of strategic management other reasons include, enhancing cooperate governance within the implementing firm, identifying the core competencies. Core components vitiate depending on the companies view. An additional importance is in setting goals. To accomplish any business success strategic management serves as a great importance in goal setting goal settings. This is possible since any lagging plan is easily identified as a result of attaining some set goals. It, therefore, gives the firm a better advantage as a more plan are strategically positioned.(Wilkinson. & Kannan., 2013)

This realization, therefore, implies that as a health organization, strategic planning can come in handy since the positive schemes noted are reinforced each time. Such schemes include record keeping, financial auditing aspects amidst many other uses.Just like any other suggested initiatives that come with such advantages also comes their disadvantages. Through reviewed constitutions an institutions’ way of decision making an issue that seems to be of no great value but one that has so much weight. Amendment decisions may ironically go against the expected norm where the workers are consulted on issues before they are motioned and their agendas are discussed. Thus such outrageous uncalled for anomalies’ may lead to demonstrations and stagnate all firm activities thereby leading to major economic losses in the health sector.(Sekhar., 2009)

To prevent further damage to their hard-earned reputations individuals may decide to file resignation letters if any issue that does not air their requirements are met. Therefore for such actions to be halted and their server enormous effects to take place, any arrogant rational moves should be discussed even before their legalization is initiated. Through doing so talks would be the best source of addressing issues that may have resulted in the bad blood feud within the organization. Chains of command should remain unhampered with unless the subjects to which the rule serves to objectify agree with the constitution imposed on them. However, some rules should be bent for the utter good of the investments trivial success in relation to the bewildering market trends and customers. It will, therefore, be an issue of a total dilemma if other agendas with the highest likelihood of crippling the organizational success are compromised to benefit the major majority rule.(Varbanova., 2013.)

The business owners, in this case, parastatal organizations may decide to make unilateral decisions, decisions whose impacts may go unnoticed but may result to great mayhem and embezzlement of invested resources thus sudden halts in activities in the organization Thus a set code of harmonium accords should be put in place for the sole purpose of solving such diplomatic deprival’s of rights .Therefore it is a matter of unreasonable discussions that for strategic management to take place, not all specifications’ will favor the general will and liking and will, therefore, be loomed in lieu of being embraced. Clarity should thereby be a major key player in citing all the loopholes and the pros and cons just to ensure that any raised acclaims are discussed and the solutions arrived at without having to necessary result to huge dramatic brawls between their philanthropists and the opposes against the idea who would view the move as a façade and scums that may endanger their resources.(Wilkinson. & Kannan., 2013)
