Types of Statistical Inference:

1.Parameter Estimation—estimate population parameters using confidence intervals

2.Hypothesis Testing—comparing sample statistics to true or population parameters

3.Tests of Significant Differences—compare two sample groups statistically (will be discussed in next session-Differential Analysis)
