Security Policy Changes

To: All Credit Union Staff

With the growth of the Credit Union, we have updated and added some new security policies for each associate to follow. There is going to be some training available to associates on certain aspects of these new policies. The changes will take effect as of August 10, 2017.

Member Security:

Employee Security:

  1. All members who call in must be verified by asking them 3 security questions.
  2. For members going into the branches, we need to add a driver’s license photo or in branch photo.
  3. Any information written down about account must be placed in shred bin daily; do not leave out any member information.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us or your supervisor for further clarification. Please schedule training time with your supervisor as this training must be completed before August 10th.

  1. Passwords will need to be updated once every 30 days.
  2. Drawer audits will begin in mid-August (lock drawer always when away from desk).
  3. Any suspicious email needs to be deleted immediately and notify IT right away (Training will be available all of July to ensure everyone knows what to look for).
