Preschoolers Behavioral and Social-Emotional Development

SELF CONCEPT

Young children are encouraged to develop their characteristics and good values at a very young age so that they may grow upholding them. (Berger, 2000; Berk, 2002).

Behavioral and emotional expectation.

Children at this young age get emotional really quickly. This is a common reaction that a child can show when not satisfied with anything. This can normally result from children being left by their parents or even being pissed by anything.

Social Skills

Skills that enable the child to interact with one another and foster unity among them now and in future.

Self-regulation

Enabling the child regulate themselves and balance between what they are doing is encouraged. Following the set schedule will help them in their self-regulation skills.
