Continuous Variable
SPSS output: Descriptive Statistics Output is as follows (Frankfort & Guerrero, 2018):
The “mode” indicates that the data listed above is better because it is the categorical variable. The mode, from the previous– (Graph 2). The means that most teens agree with the study as it relates to the importance of the science subject (De Philippis 2015). One of the ways to present information to make it understandable is the use of Graphs and Pie Chats (Freund, J. E., & Miller, I. 2004). above information is observed from the frequency distributed onto the table. The table displays that (4,073) most teens which equals (20.3%) of all strongly agree that the subject of Sciences being taught in their schools is very useful to them. Furthermore, 49.4% = 9,897 teens agree based off the data listed above. With the two groups surveyed combined, both gave more info than (50%), that means that (69.7%). This further implies that most teens at in United States, believe that the subject of Sciences is very much needed and useful to their daily lives and important to their futures.
This useful information to our societies as whole, because it lets educational institutions know that their curriculums is the sciences is effective and impactful. Thus, hopefully to produce future American Engineers, Computer Coders, Technologists, Math/Science educators and Physicians/Nurses. Additionally, I currently work at a top academic medical institution and I can see how this data could help us program manager, with outreach efforts. After conducting this research and seeing this data, I can now go back to my senior management, and inform them that we need to make greater efforts to reach out to teens in Chicago because this data shows that most teens view, sciences as important to their future. I This assignment was very challenging and took most of my day however, the data that was gained, could have an impactful importance on our societies. The United States of America government and educational institutions should recognize the need for more STEM programs, including for minority youth and effective career bridge programs are needed to be implemented (De Philippis, 2015). Hence, the return of investment could have a positive outcome for the communities in America and possible around the world.
