Introduction

The six key defined elements of analytics are data sources, processing applications, analytic models data models, computing power and sharing or storage of results. Therefore, cloud analytics any analytics is when one or more of the mentioned elements is implemented. Gartner analyst Bill. Most companies these days are moving towards using cloud computing technology because it provides the following benefits. Lower costs, flexibility, and scalability and also it’s a way to secure the future of the organizations as explained below (Ohri, 2014).

Support the need for the use of analytics and cloud technology within this company.

The use of analytics and cloud technology reduces costs. It is costly to start using cloud computing but after that the company’s maintenance costs are significantly reduced. Servers achieve this underVirtualization canmean adecrease in the number of servers you needin a great company, which will free space in data centers, and this will allow them to save a considerable amount of money on power and cooling. The next thing that reduces cost is to develop a data center based on the cloud features. This will save on data management costs and also on eliminate the bureaucratic procedures in the organization hence making access of service easier. Secondly it increases agility. Since all companies are looking for the ways they can be more responsive to customers, this need makes organizations want aflexible infrastructure. Cloud computing enables companies no longer need to invest in expensive infrastructure, spend a lot on maintenance and buying of hardware and software. Instead of always consuming a lot of money on maintenance and administrative tasks the IT organization can help run the business by applying cloud computing technology. For example, it can take several minutes for cloud computing system off the line to make them accessible in a matter of seconds for any employee, 24 hours a day, instead of having to wait for someone to obtain therelevant document at ion successfully, which could take days or weeks. The speed has a profound effect on the development and running of projects in a business organization and new product launches in that organization; the cloud will be the most appropriate facilitator to bring the products t o market faster since the development teams will not depend on IT teams for the provision of new servers and software (Dill, 2012).

Use of analytics and cloud technology increases flexibility. The growth of hybrid clouds within the many enterprises is the best example for explaining flexibility. Gartner, whichis seen as the key hybrid deployment forlargestenterprises. In its report, “Hybrid IT: How cloud services are transforming internaland external IT, ” analyst firm explains thatmany companies are operating on the array ofpickandmix. Such that Many IT organizations are adopting theso-calledpublic cloud for noncritical IT services such as application development, testing. This can replace internal applications that will allow access f or the mobile workforce. There is a need for companies using private cloud computing to move to hybrid cloud computing due to its flexibility feature hence the need for cloud computing in large business companies(Erl, Puttini, & Mahmood, 2013).

It also ensures that there is Big Data. Largecompanies nowadays are emphasizing on Big Data. This provides the basis for large companiesto conduct analysis on their databases which is an advancement since in the past keeping up with customer data information has beendifficult. The cloud computing can allow large companies improve their analytical skills by not only storingthe data in the cloud but also providing the necessarycomputing power to sift through a large amount of theunstructured data. As a result, they will give them the business intelligence and decisions needed to help the businesses achieve their goals and move forward. Also, cloud computing enables the data tobe presented to the end user in a way that it looks like as a tool easy to use. Cloud computing also helps companies prepare for the future growth of the company earlier(In Hemby, 2015)

Development of software has been made faster by use of cloud computing. Large business companies with teams of software developers that are internal will also achieve the gains in economy of scale by software development andimplementing ofcloud software. The company can standardize the cloud architecture to make progress much faster as compared to traditionalenvironments. Software development of on the platform can be up to asfour times faster than the normal, and other services such as database are integrated intothe platform. Best practices such as documentation are firmly established when using cloud computing. Virtual machines can be, installed and tested and deployed much faster than physical machines that need to be reimaged every single time a new version of a software needs testing(Hurwitz,2015).

Use of analytics and cloud technologyhas also led to better upgradeability. Maintaining a single PC with all constant security patches and updatesis atime-consuming task, hence keeping thousands of current users is also a tedious job. The larger the business company, the more money, and time spent. With the cloud computing, the business organization no longer has to spend a lot of timeto update servers and can now use that time concentrating on achieving the business goals and moving the business forward. There is also increased safety. One of the major obstacles to the cloud is the security issue. Business organizations require their data and operations to be secure which involves concern for data of the customer complying with various regulatory regimes. Cloud providers have specialization andlarge economies of scale that guarantee avery high level of security.Providers canalso build cloudswith security best practices provided to the system from the beginningthatincludes core cloud platform toprocesses that are put in place, and their monitoring systems. Also, cloud computing enablescontinuous auditing that helps access the system and make necessary changes so as to increase reliability since they can detect anything that goes wrong very fast and fix it (Ohri, 2014).

It is possible to carry out more Business through the use of analytics and cloud technology. Large business Companies are paying more attention to business flexibility. In business establishingflexibility strategies, use of cloud computing is fast helpingto accomplish this by becoming a primary risk managementtool. The use of cloud allows businesscompanies increase the redundancy of the infrastructure in allthe parts of the business. Decentralization increases business flexibility and helps streamline disaster. New approaches to scalable application computing to simplify thespecificbusiness infrastructure by merging many essentialelements thatinclude caching, storage database and load balancing. Cloud computing makes it possible to expand easily the business organizations due to the flexibility feature whereby its architecture allows for more nodes and levels of modules to be addedinto the system with ease.

The ninth reason is the green dimension. In the cloud computing, there is also a green aspect (green) that can help business companies better achieve their specifiedbusiness objectivesin corporate social responsibility. Since cloud providers can be able to invest in data centers large scale. This will also help put more cloud services that will reduce material waste since less hardware is required. Fewer resources are required for this. Lastly, cloud computing has made management easier. When using cloud computing the status of virtually everything running on infrastructure is shown on the digital panel allowing the management to identify problems easily and quickly hence resolves them on time (Ohri, 2014).

Recommendation for solution providers that could help your company secure a firm advantage by using analytics and cloud technology.

For business enterprises that are considering introducing cloud services and use on analytics to improve the company’s IT environment, I would suggest that for safe use and also so that they can gain the full advantages they should also check its safety aspect.

Conclusion

Use of use of analytics and cloud technology should, therefore,be adapted by companies who want to remain a relevant to the market. The use of the technology is one of the best ways to ensure that businesses remain competitive.
