ANSWER

I never forget working with these two certified nurse assistance, whenever it was time to reposition the patient they would get ghost. They knew exactly what they were doing because they knew that I was going to take the initiate to do it myself. I finally realized that I was being used and manipulated. So, what I started doing was instead of going and repositioning the patients myself, I would go find the nurse assistance and ask them, “Did they need any assistance with repositioning the patient?” Delegating is a big part of being a leader, I feel as though, long as your coworkers see you don’t mind doing the job , they would do whatever you ask of them within reasoning.Since that incident, I have any problems with them. I treat them as though I would like to be treated. Colossians:Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.” (Colossians 4:5-6)

My Nurse Manager, would always ask, how was my night and she appreciate all that I do and I would tell her thanks and that’s my duty as a servant. a servant leader becomes a servant first. The servant leader does not rely on formal authority; the ability to dictate andcommand what others are to do. Rather, they lead through informal authority, creating a willingness on the part of others to follow voluntarily. Leaders gain informal authority not through the organization chart, but through their actions; the willingness to focus on the legitimate needs of others and to do what must be done.

“Being a leader changes everything. Before you are a leader, success is all about you. It’s about your performance, your contributions. It’s about getting called upon and having the right answers. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others. Your success as a leader comes not from what you do but from the reflected glory of the people you lead”.
