The Psychological testing Movement: Conclusion

Psychology Testing is one of the most vital components in applied psychology. Today, psychologist must assess, observe, interview, and test the patient to come to a conclusion regarding intelligence, aptitude, and personality. Testing is useful in diagnosing mental disabilities to plan appropriate treatment, useful for mental functioning to determine schooling placement and to aid in career planning and employee selection. Psychology tests are even used to help our court systems determine child custody cases, and to determine mental competency to stand trial. The contributions from our psychological forefathers has been invaluable. The advancements in psychological value could not have evolved without their practical and scientific tests.
