An agile organization is also known as entrepreneurial or the resilient organization. It is an organization that reacts and responds to changes in the market place or a particular field. In a fast way or quickly. This means that such organizations do not take time to adapt to any changes but rather easily adapts to changes. An agile organization emerges successful in introduction of any competitors, rapid advancements in technology and sudden shifts in overall market conditions. It focuses on the customer which calls for customized rather than standardized offerings (Nirmal Pal, D. P. 2005). Such organizations thrive in non-hierarchical structures without a single point of control. Agile organization is associated with a number of characteristics which are mentioned below.
