Shown above is my participant evaluation form. This was allocated to each and every participant at the end of the discussion. They were then given ample time to respond on the questions that had been indicated therein. Most form had the selection of strongly agree in questions one to six. However there were two that had agree as the response in the first section.

The second part of the comments were quite unremarkable.

Most participants had very pleasant comments on how the presentation was well organized and well planned. However, every good thing has to have some undoing or wrong portion that can always be worked on. In the areas to improve on there were comments such as the lack of sufficient images to go with the illustrations provided. Four participants categorically stated that they were photographic learners and could have gained extensively and way much more had several other images been put in place.

Three other participants also complained about the short duration of time allocated for question and answers together with the discussion duration. This was expounded by one participant as one of the most important aspect of any presentation since it is often at this point in time where uncertainties are clarified and deep learning takes place. This is also the time when several clarifications arising from the presentations are made and hence it is a very crucial time.

Finally, there were complains about inadequate and untimely notification of the presentation. Several participants stated that they got to know of the presentation late and therefore had to cancel other arrangements. Others also stated that most of their friends would have loved to attend but because the communication wasn’t made early enough, they were unable to make the necessary arrangements so as to attend.
