Projects come in different forms and sizes. Understanding each and every project and the unique requirements it needs together with the company’s goals will need to be put into account so that it can it can be executed diligently. Users at each and every project form the core. Designing a user friendly and simple customer portal is therefore an approach that should always take priority.

In the unique case of WeLoveVideo, Inc, there was an existing customer portal but it needed to be redesigned from the ground up to meet the company’s current and future needs. An appropriate approach to designing it was arrived at. Agile Software Development Life cycle was the best fitting since we needed to get feedback from users over several interactions of the projects till we got to a point where the users loved the flow. Users included the customers, customer care and marketing department. We were in a position to design and develop a system that met everyone’s needs while efficiently working and attaining the company’s requirements.

As much as we developed a system that works for now, we are well aware of the future and changed that might occur as the company grows into different geographical regions. We developed WeLoveVideo, Inc systems to be in a position to be scaled and adapted to different languages and currencies if the company chooses so in the future. It will be easier to expand. With the rapidly changing technologies, we designed it to adapt to a newer technology if the company chooses to adopt and more advanced technology in future to serve their customers more and better. This was taken into account when future proofing the system.

As of the time of this writing, WeLoveVideo, Inc saw growth through increased user retention and increasing revenue through increased user subscription. This project was a success.
