Network, Security and Ethical Considerations: when transmitting Data across a network consider, encrypting the data, bandwidth, and Firewall. Always Transmission of data has to be seamless.

Data Management 

Data quality is very since any organization dealing with a lot of data as this will make it more accessible and usable whenever needed. Data quality may be defined as the worth o f data. In the long run, it makes the organization more efficient in the use of data that it has at its disposal. The goals of data quality are; 

i)Reliability

ii) Precision

iii) Iintegrity

iv) Timeliness

For this reason,  clearly spelt out steps in the organization of its  data is crucial in the attainment. The steps i would take include; 

i) identification of issues and opportunities for collecting data – This step involves the identification of the end goal and steps needed to achieve the goals that the organization needs. It involves accessing the organizational 

ii) select issues and opportunities then set goals – The issues identified from step one are then selected in the process of data management. 

iii) Plan an approach and methods. The methods used to collect data  are then selected based on the appropriateness depending on the nature of data that needs to be collected and looking forward to the analysis stage. 

iv) Data collection – This is the physical retrieval of data. The methods selected in the previous step is then used to collect data. 

v) Analyze and interpret data – Analysis involves the use of tools that makes that makes it easier to get information and knowledge about the data collected. This step ensures that the quality is consistent  and is maintained. 

vi) Act on results 

To be in position to effectively make use of data, factors like security, network and ethical considerations are very crucial. 

I would address the issues of security by maintaining the set standards and procedure in accessing and manipulation of organizations data. This will minimize the access of data by unauthorized people. Ethical issues that might arise will also be addressed by maintaining integrity and professional standards. People working with me on this will be expected to maintain these set standards. Network designers and maintainers will play a big role in helping in doing this. The extent to which the organization collects data will only extend to where the company will use in identifying it’s customers and those that that are provided with the customer’s/user’s consent. 

I will need experts in big data so that they can use their expert knowledge in handling and analysis of the organisation’s enormous data.

Data mining expert will help in retrieval of data.
