I selected Xerox HR Solutions. The mission statement is as follows:
“Through the world’s leading technology and services in business process and document management, we’re at the heart of enterprises small to large, giving our clients the freedom to focus on what matters most: their real business.”
A competitive market leader and proactive strategy is the best way for Xerox to accomplish and maintain this mission statement. Xerox would have to analyze their external environment, continually upgrade their technologies to become more productive than their competitors, and have a sound organizational structure. HR and HRD must be in sync and constantly evolving.
* Based on the scenario, choose two approaches that the managers can utilize to improve performance at the company. Justify each approach accordingly.
The first approach is to analyze the internal environment to determine what is needed in the training itself. A reactive approach will help address any sales and morale issues immediately to get the company moving in the right direction to meet organizational goals. Also, ongoing training and re-analyzing the environment from time to time will aid in adjusting and enhancing ongoing trainings in the future.
